I am an enthusiastic and driven movement scientist. From 2004 I focus my research on orthopedics. After a PhD trajectory on the clinical and technical aspects of total knee replacement, I developed to senior researcher and head of the research unit for orthopedics, anesthesiology and radiology. As research lead for Orthopedic Innovations, I now initiate innovative research on fixation methods (RSA), function, and kinematics of primary and revision total knee replacements, as well as diagnostics of PJIs of hips, knees and shoulder implants. I supervise several colleague researchers and orthopedic residents in their (PhD) research and am active in the education (research methodology and statistics) of young orthopedic surgeons in the hospital. I am a board member of the International RSA society and the International Society for Technology in Arthroplasty.

I am currently a core surgical trainee based in Kent, Surrey and Sussex and work from London. Interested in particular in diversity within the orthopaedic field which is my specialty of interest.

I am currently a registrar on the Percivall Pott Training Rotation in London. After graduating Medicine from King’s College London with a BSc in Surgery and Anaesthesia from Imperial College London, I’ve spent time completing a placement at the Beit Cure Hospital in Malawi, an internship at the World Health Organisation in Geneva and a fellowship in Surgical Simulation at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals. I have a continued interest in global surgery, teaching and advocating for diversity within the orthopaedic speciality.
