EMEA residents: apply now for Residents Educational Pathway sponsorship opportunity

The closing date for the Zimmer Biomet Resident and Fellow Educational Program has been extended to allow you the opportunity to apply! Applications now close Sunday 14 May 2023. This program is an opportunity to receive world-class medical education and training in the musculoskeletal arena. IODA will be selecting two applicants to join the Program. The 2023 Zimmer Biomet for Residents Educational Pathway uses various training techniques to enhance the learning experience of residents currently in training programs in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. The Pathway will take place as follows:

  • Phase 1 – Online Educational Pathway: Webinar Series.

  • Phase 2 – BioSkills Training Week – To be held in Cologne, Germany from 2–7 July 2023.

  • Phase 3 – Surgeon to Surgeon Visitation – An opportunity for residents to join a surgeon to surgeon visitation across Europe.

Flights and accommodation wil be included. The program covers hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, shoulder arthroplasty, shoulder sports medicine and trauma surgery, as well as robotics, technology and data solutions. It is tailored to both junior and senior residents, who follow separate pathways. Download the Program Booklet for further information. To apply for the program, please submit both a CV and a 2-minute (maximum) video to info@orthopaedicdiversity.org by Sunday 14 May 2023.
