Expressions of interest sought for IODA Latin America and Caribbean Committee
IODA is establishing its first Latin America and Caribbean Committee and is seeking expressions of interest from members based in Latin America or the Caribbean who would like to get involved.
The Committee will help strengthen IODA’s network across LATAM and the Caribbean by:
developing systematic outreach to national organisations, professional societies, trainees, and potential collaborators.
supporting the recruitment of allies and charter signatories.
developing educational activities, webinars, online events, and regional initiatives.
strengthening trainee engagement and representation.
supporting regional research, data collection, and collaboration.
identifying and developing future regional leaders who may contribute to the IODA Board and other IODA committees.
creating a sustainable structure that supports continuity beyond the term of any individual regional representative.
We’re seeking four committee members at different career stages, including one trainee representative. Bring your ideas, skills and interests — roles will be shaped around the successful candidates.
