IODA welcomes all members to join the IODA and JBJS Journal Club, entitled 'The Science of Diversity' — to be held on Thursday 13 November 2025.

This free event will feature three articles examining the ways in which various disparities impact the healthcare of patients in the United States:

• How Long Will It Take to Reach Gender Parity in Orthopaedic Surgery in the United States? An Analysis of the National Provider Identifier Registry

• Education, Language, and Cultural Concordance Influence Patient-Physician Communication in Orthopaedics

• Patient-Physician Racial Concordance Increases Likelihood of Total Knee Arthroplasty Recommendation
